How To Use Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator

How To Use Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator

The skin surrounding the eyes is one of the first areas of the face to show signs of aging. As the muscles of the face contract to create movement, the thin skin around the eyes is pulled, causing this delicate area to be highly susceptible to premature wrinkling. Our best-selling Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator is imbued with a sublime fusion of vital and beneficial ingredients such as Squalane, Cholesterol Esters, Vitamin E, Vitamin C to enrich and enhance the delicate skin around the eyes. Its unique, silky texture glides across the skin for ease of application, so as not to create unnecessary friction or tugging/pulling in this fragile area upon application.

Specially created by Jami Morse Heidegger to address moisturization, smoothness, fine lines, and brightness, our luxurious, water-free balm is clinically proven to help reveal smoother, brighter, more youthful looking under-eye skin – after just 28 days of use.*

DAY OR NIGHT

Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator may be used day or night, depending upon preference and skin type. (Technically, the only real distinction between a ‘daytime’ or ‘nighttime’ eye-area preparation is whether the product contains a sunscreen.) Because it has a very rich consistency and does not contain a sunscreen, this product is most often recommended as an overnight treatment for all skin types that require a premiere option for eye-area hydration; however, Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator may also be used as a daytime treatment and moisturizer as well, especially if one is experiencing a high degree of dryness in the eye area.

PROTECT YOUR PEEPERS

Just as it is crucial to protect the skin around the eyes, it is equally important to protect the eyes themselves! Many serious eye conditions can result from cumulative sun exposure and may even lead to a total loss of vision. We recommend wearing distortion-free sunglasses that offer UV400 protection to shield the eyes from dangerous rays; hats with wide brims (at least four inches) or visors can offer additional protection.

SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE

We do not promote our Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator to address dark circles under the eye or puffiness. Clients suffering from chronic eye-area puffiness or extreme dark circles/under-eye discoloration should seek the medical advice of a physician. Likewise, if a customer is experiencing extreme dryness and/or flaking on the immediate upper or lower lid of the eye, we advise that the person seek professional medical counsel before using or purchasing a product.

APPLICATION TIPS

If using Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator in conjunction with other Retrouvé products, apply first for best results.

We asked noted Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr Harry Saperstein for his advice on how to best apply our eye-area moisturizer: “Pump a small, pea-sized amount of Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator onto a clean fingertip. This product should be applied to gently cleansed but slightly damp skin. Starting at the outer corner of the eye, using the orbital bone as a guide, gently pat the eye product along the bone inward, stopping at the nose and avoiding the eyelash area. Do not pull, tug, or rub, as the skin in this area is very delicate. As the moisturizing ingredients in these products often migrate upward, there is no need to apply the product any closer to the immediate eye area than noted,” explains Dr. Saperstein.

He continues, “Please realize that a person’s moisturizing needs will fluctuate and, therefore, influence the amount and frequency with which one may choose to apply our Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator. For example, a person whose under-eye area tends to be unproblematic in the summer may experience extreme dryness during the winter months. Hormonal changes within the body, due to aging, pregnancy, or stress also have impact on our skin. These factors, as well as others, will dictate each individual’s moisturizing needs.”

WAIT A FEW MINUTES

Due to its unique balm-like texture, if using Revitalizing Eye Concentrate Skin Hydrator underneath makeup, please know that it may be necessary to wait for 10 – 15 minutes for the treatment to be absorbed by the skin before applying other cosmetic products or continuing with one’s grooming routine

ONE LAST WORD OF ADVICE

Nutrient Face Serum, Dynamic Nourishing Face Cream, and Intensive Replenishing Facial Moisturizer  are fantastic moisturizers, but they are not formulated for use in the eye area where ingredients that may be excellent for the face might be potentially irritating should they get in the eye. Just as one would not use a body cream on the face, one would not use a facial moisturizer in the eye area!
