Why We Do Not Add Perfumed Fragrance to Our Formulations

The scent, texture and function of Retrouvé is both scientific and artful.

The formulae have been mindfully blended in as safe a way possible from exclusive, select time-tested and supremely effective ingredients that work together synergistically to provide a superb skin effect in addition to a luxurious feeling when applied. Our task, which we take very seriously, is to help make your skin look naturally luminous and vibrant.

Added perfumed fragrance in a skincare product or other topical is the most common cause of allergic or irritant reactions of all the ingredients in it. “Added fragrance can also cause reactions triggered by sun exposure, both photoallergic and phototoxic.  These reactions occur mainly outdoors but can be exacerbated by indoor artificial light as well,” explains noted Beverly Hills dermatologist, Dr. Harry Saperstein.

Therefore, no artificial fragrances are added to our formulae, and the scent of each product is simply the natural aroma of the ingredients blended together.

With Retrouvé, experience sublime skincare with more of the ingredients you do want without many of the unnecessary and often problematic additives such as perfume so frequently included elsewhere.
